This document attempts to clarify the apparent misinformation that seems to be going the rounds. The information used in the clarification is based on authorities on biofuels related matters and the experiences obtaining in Zambia and internationally.

 

Issues discussed include whether the plant is invasive and the fear that agricultural land will all be taken up by biofuels industry. The document is concluded by BAZ appeal to all concerned to use researched and experiential information in forming opinions about the development of the biofuels industry in Zambia.
