LATEST: BAZ in full existence Biofuels Association of Zambia (BAZ) was registered in September 2006 to promote biofuels in Zambia. The Chairman of the Association if Prof. Thomson Sinkala of Thomro Investments while the Vice-Chair is Mr. Peter McSporran of Agricultural Advisors. Others include Mr. Tyson B. Chisambo (Bruno’s Jatropha Nursery) – Director Feedstock, Mr. Edward Sefuke (Luena Sugar) – Director Finance & Administration, Mr. Hekkie Grobbellar (Marli Investments) – Director Research & Development, , Dr. Paul C. Chisale (UNZA) – Committee Member, Mr. Sebastian Namukolo (UNZA) – Committee Member, Mrs. Doreen Yambala – Committee Member, and Mrs. Phebby Kamwela /alt. Mr. N. A. Lungu (Biomass Devpt Plc) – Committee Member. Mr. Lungowe Lutangu of Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV)) – is the BAZ Advisor.
